Today we are going to show you the HitchMate StabiLoad support for cargo stabilizer bars, part number HE4017. The StabiLoad support is designed to attach to HitchMate cargo stabilizer bars and prevents your load from moving side to side behind the bar. It is compatible with both the full size and compact size cargo stabilizer bars, part numbers HE4016 and HE4015. Like the cargo stabilizer bars, the StabiLoad support is covered by a one year limited warranty. To install the StabiLoad support, all we have to do is set it on top of our cargo stabilizer bar, slide it against our load and use the set screws to clamp it down tight. Once we have it clamped down tight, our cooler cannot go anywhere. And that does it for the HitchMate StabiLoad support for cargo stabilizer bars, part number HE4017.

These easily installed single bike carrier allows for secure bikes wherever you go. With its rugged steel construction and powdered coating this bike rack is ready for any conditions you can put it through. It’s easy front wheel clamping makes travel a breeze, and this will virtually work on any bicycle. First off we’ll open our truck bed here, set inside our Insta-Gater, and there’s a couple things to do first and we’ll show you. First we need to lengthen the straps and we’ll do that by pressing down on the center button and pulling them out. Now these straps here fit in between the tailgate and the bed of the truck. What happens is we close the tailgate and it traps them inside. That way the rack won’t go anywhere. Now that we have the straps inside we need to tighten everything down, and this nice handy little ratchet will do that for us.
To install our bike we take the front wheel and we set it inside the rack and make sure it’s hitting inside the tail gate. Then we take our locking arm here, give it a squeeze and let it come back. Now we make sure it goes over the tire, and once it makes contact we want to make sure it goes two clicks past it. Once you have it in there, give it a little shake and make sure it’s stable and it might need one more click or two. Maybe with the front suspension bikes it might take more tension to keep it from wobbling. As you can see I’m shaking the bike and truck so this isn’t going anywhere. To release this bike all you have to do is push this trigger here, maybe push on it a little more to relieve the tension and then we take our bike right off. As you can see here, there’s a space to add a lock to it. This is part of Thule’s one key system. So say for example you have another Thule system that utilizes the one key system, you can buy a matching cylinder to install on this bike rack and lock everything into place. The Thule Insta-Gator bike rack as you can see will fit virtually any kind of bike frame. It quickly installs in the bed of your truck and with a little practice you could probably have this installed in 15 seconds. With its durable steel construction and painted finish will last for a very long time. As you can see we have it installed in the middle here and obviously you can put two of them in there and possibly four depending on the width of your truck. Also on the tire sizes with this bike you can fit mainly from 20 inches to 29 inches and tire width of about 3 inches. There you have it for part # TH501 from Thule, the Insta-Gater truck bed bike carrier.

This is a cargo control bar, this part is intended to go between the two walls of your pickup truck bed to keep things from moving front to rear. This is a one size fits all and we’ll demonstrate how this works. As you can see there are buttons on the Cargo Bar to keep it at a specified distance. Basically they just pinch down and you pull apart or push together as needed. You can see it pops into the next hole and you do that all the way down to the width you desire. Once you have the width you need, just install it between the bed rails. Basically you can stick it anywhere you have a flat solid surface. We are going against the bed liner but in this case the steel is right behind the bed liner so it won’t be a big deal we’ll just sandwich it. For the last bit of it we twist it to be as tight as we need it. Not only does the expanding length keep it in place, it also has very generous rubber feet to keep it from going anywhere. Whether it is a plastic bed liner or steel of the truck. This design can be expanded anywhere you can put it in the middle of the truck, down low up high, it just depends on what item you have in the truck and where you need the strength to hold it back at. There you have it for part # 08910 from Erikson.

Today we are going to show you part number 08908. This is a ratcheting cargo bar by Erickson Manufacturing. Basically this is a load stop that holds your cargo in place and fits between the bed wells. Put your items in there, close your tailgate and you are ready to go. We will show you how to operate it.
It is pretty easy. Extend it to what ever position you need to get it most of the way across. Take the ratchet here, I should say the latch, pull it out, step on the bottom and go ahead and pull out what you need. Once you get the bar adjusted to the length you need just slip it in place. Take the ratchet and ratchet out the rest of it until it stops. Once it stops go ahead and put the latch down and see if it is secure. To undo it simply pull the latch all the way forward and pull it out. As you can see this can be a necessary component for a pick up truck. Also this is great for vans, cars, SUVs and some enclosed trailers too. Here you have part number 08908, the ratcheting Cargo Bar from Erickson.
